Capella Regalis Men & Boys Choir Comes to the Eastern Shore Tue, June 28, 2016

Capella_Regalis_600x600_200Capella Regalis Men & Boys Choir is one of Canada’s very few men and boys choirs in the European cathedral tradition.

Musique Royale presents this choir of boys ages 8 – 12, young men, and men from Halifax in a tour of Cape Breton and the Eastern Shore running June 23 – 28.
The choir will perform in the beautiful historic Clam Harbour Church on the Heritage Village grounds on Tuesday June 28, @ 7pm.

 The tour program features both sacred and secular repertoire from across the centuries, directed by percussionist and choral director Nick Halley, and accompanied by five-time Grammy Award-winner Paul Halley on keyboards.

Fish Folk Art Fundraiser – Draw at June 5th Concert

Tickets are $1 each with a chance to win one of three beautifully painted fish, handcrafted by Choir member Jim Reid.

The draw will take place at our concert on June 5th at First United Church, Musquodoboit Harbour. The concert starts at 7:00 p.m.

In the meantime tickets can be obtained from Jim Reid, 902-829-2850 or via a Choir member. Tickets will also be available at the Sunday Musquodoboit Harbour Farmers’ Market, on 15th May, held in the Community Centre from 9 a.m. to 1 p.m.
